The most coveted role in marketing

The Marketing Engineer is the person on the marketing team who can spot workflows across market diagnosis, marketing strategy and tactical execution that are worth automating — and build the AI agents to automate them on a platform like n8n.

It's emerging as one of the most coveted marketing roles in America, with companies paying salaries between $150,000 and $300,000 to people with just a few years' experience, because the Marketing Engineer combines basic marketing knowledge with systems thinking.

You don't need to know how to code. You connect your chatbot to n8n and talk these agents into existence. The skills you bring are your marketing experience and oversight.

What you'll learn

01

Focus Group Agent

Set up your Focus Group Agent to start getting insights from the market.

  • Your agent will create the market research report that, if it landed on your desk on a Monday morning, would lead you to the right decision.
  • It will then conduct secondary market research in your market to determine the questions you need to ask in your focus group.
  • And then it will engineer the focus group respondents, moderate the focus group and put the insights into the report so you can make your mind up.

02

Positioning Statement Agent

Set up your Positioning Statement Agent to help you determine what your company or service stands for.

  • The agent will ask you what your company stands for and why your customers should believe it.
  • Then it will help you determine the 'point of difference' or 'reason to believe' in your positioning statement.
  • And finally, it will complete your positioning statement, which is what you want your customers to think about when they think about you.

03

Price Sensitivity Agent

Set up your Price Sensitivity Agent to determine the highest best price you can charge for your product or service.

  • This agent knows how to research, set and communicate price, the most important job in marketing.
  • It will conduct a Van Westendorp Price Sensitivity Meter survey with 200 of your synthetic customers and then reveal your optimal price.
  • This could be one of the most important contributions you make to your company's financial fortunes as a Marketing Engineer.

What is the Marketing Engineer?

Why marketing is in decline and needs more Marketing Engineers who can automate workflows because they understand how to combine basic marketing with systems thinking.

With your Focus Group Agent, start getting insights from your market

Set up the agent and tell it about your market so it can generate a phantom report for you, run secondary market research, conduct a synthetic focus group and complete the report.

With your Positioning Statement Agent, make an important strategic choice

Debate your 'point of difference' and 'reason to believe' with this agent to arrive at a positioning statement that makes it clear what you want your customer to think about when they think about you.

With your Price Sensitivity Agent, you'll know how much to charge

Let your new agent run the Van Westendorp Price Sensitivity Meter for you with 200 synthetic customers and calculate the optimal price for your product before the workshop ends.
